The Science and Engineering Practices are embedded throughout the NGSS and the ACT Aspire. This session will help participants be more intentional about the way they incorporate the practices into their daily instruction. Participants may choose these mini sessions a la carte. Virtual sessions will consist of face to face via Zoom and self-paced independent work credit for a total of 3 credit hours for each practice and 24 hours total. An optional Zoom session will occur each Monday (will be recorded and linked to Google Classroom to watch later if needed) to introduce the week’s task and provide time for Q/A. Teachers may work at their own pace with all tasks completed by July 31. Teachers are highly encouraged to familiarise themselves with Google Classroom prior to sessions..
