This is designed for administrators that work with or oversee novice teachers in WDMESC districts. This session will go over the New Teacher Playbook released by DESE and go over the specifics of WDMESC Novice Teacher Mentoring Program for 20-21. The goal is for participants to walk away with an understanding of the flexibility in professional learning opportunities for novices, role of districts in Novice Teacher Mentoring Program, services offered by WDMESC Recruitment & Retention Department, and specific requirements for Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 teachers.
