DSC ADE Science of Reading Overview
Participants will understand the rationale behind the Science of Reading and begin to develop an understanding of the scientific theoretical models on which the training is based. Participants will understand how the brain learns to read and how the brain permanently stores words. What works in the prevention of reading difficulties and interventions will be addressed, and how over 40 years of research in the Science of Reading connect to classroom practice.
