This training is a requirement for teachers beginning their first year in Arkansas schools as per the state’s Novice Teacher Mentoring law. Teachers who graduated from a traditional Educational Prep program with a Bachelor’s degree in education will attend Day 1. Teachers in an Alternative Certification program or hired on waiver will attend days 1 and 2. An additional 6 hours will be completed virtually.
