NWAESC(2246)---Novice Teacher Book Study: Thriving as a New Teacher: Tools and Strategies for Your First Year ***ZOOM***



Are you a novice teacher looking for *FREE* online professional development? Join us for the book study Thriving as a New Teacher by John & Sheila Eller. This book study will meet monthly via Zoom for one hour to learn about and implement strategies for classroom management, instructional design, assessment, building relationships with parents and colleagues, and much more! Participants will receive the book and tools for implementation (books delivered to district offices prior to first meeting). The first meeting will be August 4 via Zoom from 10am to 11am. All other meetings will be monthly on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30pm via Zoom (dates: 9/14/20, 9/15/20, 10/13/20, 11/10/20, 12/8/20, 1/12/21, 2/9/21, 3/9/21, 4/13/21). Attendance will be recorded at each meeting, and professional development credit will be given at the conclusion of the book study). Space is limited to 65 participants.
