GREC-Administrator Workshop: Improving Students and Adult Learning as an Instructional Leader.

Next to the effectiveness of the classroom teacher, instructional leadership is considered the second most influential and essential component to student learning. Instructional leadership is a learned skill, and due to the evolution of school leadership. many school leaders today find themselves in leadership positions without the skills that instructional leaders must possess to lead school improvement.

The expectation of the instructional leader is to ensure that all students in all classrooms have a productive learning experience every day. During this session, participants will define "instructional leadership" and create a plan to strengthen those skills and strategies in their work to increase student learning.
