SCSC- Making Music Meaningful: Cultivating Meaningful Connections through Music



This workshop will provide participants with a wide variety of strategies to engage students in the elementary music classroom. It will cover topics including teacher preparation, technology, community/school involvement, and mental health. Participants will also be given strategies to incorporate RISE and literacy into the elementary music classroom. In addition, participants will be guided through a variety of songs, games, and activities that can be implemented in their lessons. Location at this time is to be determined. 

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any trainings.  All participants are required wear a mask. If the event has to be switched to virtual, it will be held July 17th and 18th, 8:30-11:30 both days. This training may be moved to the new Magnolia School District Performing Arts Building if completed.
