SE VIRTUAL Vocabulary Instruction for Middle and Secondary Teachers



This 6-hour professional development focuses on how vocabulary is the gatekeeper to all other learning and helps successful readers to access information in reading across the content areas.  We will examine The Key Vocabulary Strategy and Marzano’s 6 Steps of Explicit Instruction along with how to handle testing verbs in your building. The audience for this professional development are all in Grades 6-12.  **BOTH DAYS MUST BE ATTENDED TO RECEIVE CREDIT**
