ARESC-Morphology Embedded in the STEM Classroom (Grades 2-5)
This 6 hour blended professional development focuses on embedding morphology into the science, math, technology, and engineering classrooms during content area lessons. Embedding knowledge of morphological components, including Greek and Latin influences, in words helps ensure success for all readers. Educators will collaborate to develop and present content area lessons using morphological strategies. The audience for this professional development are teachers of science, math, technology and engineering in Grades 2-5. NOTE: Content will be aligned with the science of reading and will assist teachers to implement and embed the science of reading into their classrooms.
