OUR Virtual SIM Vocabulary LINCing for Grades 4-12

The Vocabulary LINCing Routine is an instructional process by which the teacher guides students through the construction and use of auditory and visual memory devices for learning and remembering important vocabulary terms.  This Strategic Instruction Model (SIM) Routine is highly effective with normally achieving students, those with learning disabilities, and students who are learning English, with the most success in intermediate through high school courses.  After participating in the the LINCing Routine, students with and without disabilities scored 97% to 100% on the terms for four consecutive weeks in the research study.  This session will be available as an online course to be completed asynchronously and instructional manuals will be available for pick up at OUR Cooperative.  Feedback will be given throughout the online course and classroom coaching is available during the 2021/22 school year.
