DSC Python Released in Your Science Class!

Coding is on the loose! It is invading more Science disciplines as students use Mathematics and Computational Thinking skills. Release the coding language Python to your science students! Explore how to do basic Python relevant to Science Performance Expectations such as “using a model to generate iterative testing” and “using a computer simulation to model.” This would be a great follow up for those attending the Intro to Computer Science sessions who want to apply it to Science. No prior coding is required. Focus will be on modeling system interactions with forces and how acceleration is affected. Engineering and Physical Science applications will be created. Taught by a Science teacher- this is an interdisciplinary session welcoming Computer Science and Science teachers alike!
