Trauma, The Mind, and Seed Digging: During this session, we will discuss the development of childhood trauma within the mind and how it directly affects students’ emotions and behaviors in and out of the classroom. We will also discuss simple, effective strategies to help students move from “trauma brain” (survival mode) to a calmer emotional state so that they can learn, grow, and ultimately “thrive” within the classroom.
