This application workshop corresponds with the "Teaching Science is Phenomenal" session presented on June 10. Our first meeting will be August 13 via zoom. At this time, we will set up our schedule and discuss whole group meeting dates for the fall semester.
Members of the cohort will work with the science specialist to integrate the skills and strategies discussed in the Teaching Science is Phenomenal workshop. Classroom visits by the specialist, submission of student work samples, and zoom/face to face meetings with other participating teachers will be required. Teachers will be awarded a minimum of additional 6 professional development hours (with additional hours pending participation) for the classroom application portion of this workshop.
