GFESC Increasing Engagement in the Mathematics Classroom
In this session, teachers will explore instructional math routines and teaching strategies that promote student engagement in the mathematics classroom. These routines and strategies will also support justification/explanation and modeling skills needed for state testing. A few of the routines and strategies that we will explore include Number Talks, Three Act Tasks and Questioning. If possible, please bring an electronic device.
