School counselors will review and practice solution-focused techniques and interventions that relate to school environments. Quick and effective rapport building skills from Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and Motivational Interviewing will be discussed and practiced. There will also be time for collaboration and considerations around SBMH systems, how to handle suicidal ideation, policies and procedure that work and more.
