ARESC-Section 504-Beginning of Year Process and Procedures



The AR Div. of Elem. and Sec. Educ. (DESE) Equity Assistance Center (EAC) will provide a Section 504 professional learning for district and building-level Section 504 Coordinators. Topics to be covered include preparing for meetings and Section 504 beginning-of-the-year conferences, delivering staff Section 504 Team training, and Section 504 meeting scenarios. Discussion time will be reserved to discuss recent LEA Section 504 concerns, complaints, and successes.
