"This is a two day workshop that explores rock types, fossils, structures, and weathering processes in the Arkansas River Valley. On the first day, we travel throughout the River Valley from Morrilton to Vilonia exploring geological features. The second day includes class lecture with activities to support the topics seen in the field. Presented with Arkansas Geological Survey. Moderate physical activity will be required for the field visits. On Day 1 some transportation will be provided, but come expecting to have to drive from location to location.
Lunch will not be provided.
