SCSC - Grasping Phenomenal Science: Unit Development



Are you looking for a professional development that allows you to develop an instructional plan for the school year? During this work session, classroom teachers will develop grade/course-specific science units. Teachers will develop a year scope and sequence, bundle performance expectations into units of study, choose essential standards, develop assessment plans and begin writing lessons for the units. Come one, come all and work with other teachers in your grade level and/or course to collaboratively develop your plans for the next school year. Individual teachers and grade-level teams are welcome! TESS components addressed:  1C, 1E, 4E

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
