GFESC Exploring the Earth Sciences



Exploring the Earth Sciences provides teachers an opportunity to explore real world science.  Discover the wonders of the underground at Bluff Dwellers Cave which is located at Noel Missouri right on the Arkansas border.  Included will be the opportunity to mine for minerals and to explore the mineral and rock museum located on site.

Start the day by collecting fossils at the West Fork exit, West Fork Arkansas.  Join the group at nine with your rock hammer and collection tools.  From there, we travel to Sulfur Springs for a sack lunch stop and then Bluff dwellers cave before returning home.

Prepare for the outdoors.  Sunscreen, insect repellant, etc.  You will need rock collection tools and a sack to collect samples. GFESC is not responsible for accidents while traveling or participating in outdoor workshops. 

LUNCH IS NOT PROVIDED, bring drinks and a sack lunch.
