NAESC Tier 1 Training

Act 345 of 2015 requires all superintendents, business managers, cooperative directors, and charter school directors to receive an annual financial update of at least two (2) hours. This training on school laws of AR, laws/rules governing the expenditures of public education funds, fiscal accountability and school finance, ethics, and financial accounting and reporting of expenditures is commonly called Tier 1. The ADE also allows for Tier 1 annual training to count for Tier 2 training, at the discretion of the local district. Act 345 of 2015 also changed the requirement for Tier 2 training to a minimum of two (2) hours.

Important Session Information:

8:30-10:30 will be the Tier 1 Training.

10:30-11:30 will be the Legislative Updates.

All other entrance doors will be locked. If your temperature is 100.4 or higher you will not be allowed to enter. Face masks are required to be worn at all times for participants. (Face masks will NOT be provided by co-op). There will be designated lines/cues in the co-op to ensure social distancing. No snacks, coffee, or candy can be provided, but participants may bring their own. All breaks and lunch will be staggered to reduce traffic flow. Hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the co-op. Continuous cleaning and sanitizing of facilities will be conducted throughout the day.
