Food Preservation Lab for Family & Consumer Science Teachers

This is a face to face, hands on lab, full of food preservation techniques for Family & Consumer Science teachers. There's never been a better time to learn how to safely preserve food at home and learn how to share that with students. Home food preservation helps you stock up and save money, whether you're growing your own food or buying in bulk. Food Preservation provides variety to meals, and the flavor of home preserved foods can knock the socks off of most commercial offerings. You control what's in your food. This session will be hosted at the DeQueen High School Family & Consumer Science lab.
