NEA - Creating a virtual elementary music classroom

Do you feel your technology sense is not up to creating a virtual musical classroom? Don’t be intimidated! Google slides can be used to create a personalized virtual music classroom. During the workshop, participants will learn a step by step basic set up to create their personalized classroom. You may have created one in the past year for virtual instruction so what now? Don’t throw it away - utilize it for instruction for the upcoming school year! Use your workshop time to update while others are beginning. We will also share mini units created with Google slides that will enhance musical instruction. Leave the day with pd hours that have enabled you to get ahead and prepare for a new year. Feel free to bring and share any of your slide creations so we can all use them! Don’t be put off with technology - use it to make your life easier!

Teachers will create virtual classrooms to include their musical activities that relate to unit plans using the 4 content areas of creating, performing, responding and connecting.
