SWAEC- Keeping Hope Alive

This course will look at skills-based approaches for reducing problem behavior. Preschool students need critical life skills to help them not only be successful in life, but also in the classroom at an early age. This course will look at the Preschool Life Skills (PLS) program, a group and/or class-wide approach to incorporate mini lessons and teachable moments to help build the necessary skills. Then, the course will look at the Balance program. This program is more 1:1, using non intrusive approaches to build rapport and safety, while teaching the needed skills.

This session is only available to Hope Public School's ABC teachers and staff.
