NWAESC(6502-2095)---Engaging Secondary Students Overview/Pre K to Grade 5



Participants will get an in-depth look at the cost of dropouts, characteristics of millennial learners, and bonding and bridging capital. The training also covers: Immigrant student issues, Emotional resources and resiliency, and Schoolwide monitoring of student retention and success. Participants will get an overview of managing behaviors of students in grades PK-5. This workshop will provide very specific strategies for helping prevent disruptive behaviors and for what to do when one child occupies everyone’s time and energy.
