WDMESC: Scoliosis Screening Certification for School Nurses

This workshop will provide school nurses with the training required to provide scoliosis screenings for their students, as mandated by AR law. 3.5 nursing CNE’s will be awarded for this course. The Arkansas Department of Health is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. The planning committee & faculty attest that NO relevant financial, professional or personal conflict of interest exists, nor was sponsorship of commercial support obtained, in the preparation or presentation of this educational activity.
Course Completion requires participant to: register on ATrain; complete a pre and post course assessment; and to attend the entire session.
Each participant will have 7 days after the NCPD Activity to complete the evaluation in TRAIN. The NCPD committee will go into TRAIN & check the status of the evaluation several times within the 7 days to verify the evaluation. After the evaluation has been verified, the participant will be able to go into TRAIN and print the certificate.
