Emotional Poverty: Participants will learn and practice many techniques/exercises that will help students/parents build emotional resources in school and at home.
A framework for understanding poverty: Participants will gain in-depth information to help them understand class differences and 10 actions they can implement the next day in the classroom to achieve impact.
1. Lunch is on the participants own.
2. Event will be at The Jones Center (922 E. Emma Ave., Springdale, AR 72764)
3. Participants are encouraged to car pool due to limited parking at the event location.
4. All participants will receive a copy of the book Emotional Poverty V1.
5. This event is NOT covered under the NWAESC consortium fee.
6. This session is free to MEP staff.
