ARESC-Science of Reading-Encoding



This one-day session is meant for those who chose a Prescribed Pathway for Proficiency that required an additional day of encoding. This training will focus on defining encoding, discussing the knowledge needed to teach encoding, as well as how to each and assess encoding in a way that it promotes permanent word storage rather than visual memory. 

Important Session Information:


Bring device to face to face. May be switched to virtual, if needed.

Participants not under contract with ARESC's Member districts will be charged a fee of $25 per day, or $15 per half day. Payment is required prior to the event session.
