This is Session 1 of a 10-week preparation course for the new Foundations of Reading exam (190). Each session will focus on one objective covered in the test. This first session is focused on Objective 0001: Demonstrate knowledge of principles and evidence-based instructional practices for developing language and emergent literacy skills, including phonological and phonemic awareness, concepts of print, and the alphabetic principle. We will cover key content related to this area, and then you will be given a subscription to 240 Tutoring to reinforce concepts taught and practice before the next session.
