You are off to a great start with Science Unit Development! Most of you have completed the
calendar mapping, phenomena/problem brainstorming, bundling of PEs, and adding information to the year overview sheet. You just need time to dig deeper into this process by deciding on essential, supporting standards, enduring understandings, and essential questions for your unit. Networking with other teachers to plan a unit of study is the most valuable part of this workday. No matter where you are in this process, this PD is for you! Let’s get together to work. (Beginning work on Science Unit Development w/the Science Specialist is a prerequisite for this PD). TESS components addressed include: 1E, 1F, 4E
