Entrepreneurial Spirit: Black Businesses in the 20th Century



The end of the Civil War presented many questions to Americans of all backgrounds, specifically formerly enslaved Black men and women. Where some saw adversity, many Black Entrepreneurs saw an opportunity. How do you find hope in a period of rapid change?  During the late 19th and early 20th century, Black Americans created businesses to build their community and create generational wealth for their families.  Join Mosaic Templars Cultural Center Education Director Raven Cook in considering the legacy of Arkansas Black Entrepreneurs.
