This session will consist of booktalks of approximately 60 middle grade and young adult books with a majority published in the past three years. The booktalks cover many genres. Participants will receive a bibliography of the presented books.

Booktalking the Charlie May Simon List for 2022-2023

This session will consist of a history of the Charlie May Simon Award, an overview of how to participate in the award process, booktalks of the books on the 2022-2023 Charlie May Simon reading list, and presentation of activities related to the books on the list.
