This training is designed for school-wide behavior teams.
Your team must include at least 3 school staff members, one who is a building
administrator and one who is a general education teacher. During this one-day
training, lecture, team activities, and team discussion and reflection will be
used to familiarize team members with core components of Tier 1 School-Wide
Positive Behavior Supports (SWPBS). During the training, team members will
practice using the Tier 1 Benchmarks of Quality (BOQ) to evaluate their
school’s current level of implementation of SWPBS. At the conclusion of the
training, team members will make an action plan for improving the
implementation of SWPBS in their school. School teams will have the opportunity
to request one follow-up coaching session from the Arkansas Behavior Support
Specialists.
