SCSC - Science Curriculum Mapping and Unit Development (Magnolia Science)



This in person workshop will engage science teachers in the development of a science instructional plan for a school year. Science classroom teachers will develop grade/course-specific science units of study grounded in phenomena. Teachers will develop a year's scope and sequence, bundle performance expectations into units of study and choose essential learning targets.  TESS COMPONENTS addressed include:1E, 4A, 4D

THIS IS A FACE TO FACE EVENT IN THE MAGNOLIA MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE DEPT.  PLEASE BRING YOUR DEVICE. For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
