WDMESC: Fossils of Arkansas



Fossils of Arkansas Field Trip and Lab Instruction will have a major emphasis on geologic time and environment of deposition. The first day is a field trip to Huff, Arkansas (south of Batesville) to search for Arkansas' most abundant fossil: crinoids.  The second day is spent studying about Arkansas fossils and activities for students.  Teachers will receive a guidebook and activities. 

Special Information:

Transportation will be provided from Harding University to the field experience site.  Participants will be sent information about lunch closer to the event.
