GFESC Collaborative Common Assessments with Solution Tree's Cassandra Erkens

In this two-day Solution Tree event, participants will learn why collaborative common assessment are the engine of a professional learning community. By collaboratively developing these assessments, teams establish a consistent way to effectively monitor student learning, collectively respond to results, implement informed practice, and raise expectations. Gain tools, protocols, and strategies to design and effectively employ quality assessments that enable teams to collect meaningful instructional data and respond appropriately with interventions and enrichments. Participants are encouraged to attend as a team and team time will be provided each day to support your implementation plan. As a result of these days, participants will identify the process of designing and practice of employing a robust and balanced assessment system at the classroom level while they focus on the keys to accurate design and effective use of common formative assessments. Time will be provided to practice writing common formative assessments and supportive tools, such as planning templates and protocols will be provided.
All Participants will get a copy of Cassandra Erkens book The Handbook for Collaborative Common Assessments: Tools for Design, Delivery, and Data Analysis.
