DSC Project WILD! @Lake DeGray



Educators attending this 6 hr workshop at Lake DeGray State Lodge receive two activity guides with more than 150 activities matching state and national standards for Kindergarten through 12th grade programs. Teachers will go on a 3/4 mile hike and take a boat cruise on beautiful Lake DeGray! Instruction is given by Project WILD Director Sheila Lovelady-Connerly for Lessons on Animal Poetry, Artistic Adaptation, etc. Project WILD activities are written by teachers, school administrators, wildlife professionals and environmental experts for accuracy and educational value. Each lesson plan is tested in real classrooms to ensure effectiveness and high quality student involvement. Educators should wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Lunch on your own. PLEASE NOTE: Educators should bring laptop or notebook to take notes in the morning session and wear comfortable shoes and clothes for the afternoon session.
