The Arkansas Library Media Standards focus on teaching an inquiry model. It requires subject content to make the standards meaningful and to provide students opportunities to make real—world connections. Participants will unpack the standards, exploring how the standards can be used to revise their current curriculum and develop sample lesson plans and assessments. Resources, curriculum and lesson plan templated and instructional strategies will be shared. Participants are asked to bring their laptop or other device, and copies of their Library Media standards grade level benchmarks.
