Intended for all educators entering their first year as a classroom teacher in the 2022-2023 school year. Required for all non-fully licensed first year teachers. Optional for all fully license first year teachers.
This two-day workshop will focus on all the basics of instructional planning and classroom management. On the first day, participants will learn about state standards, the lesson cycle, lesson planning, and effective practices for student engagement. On the second day, participants will work through their classroom management plan and learn effective start-of-the-year classroom management practices.
