GFESC Special Health Care Needs Train the Trainer
This course is for DISTRICT RN"S who are responsible for training all Unlicensed personnel in their district who provide ANY care to students. This includes medication administration in the nurses absence, toileting, feeding, etc... The Model of Nursing Delegation is specific to requirements of training and there are policies and procedures written into the Nurse Practice Act and School Nurse Roles and Responsibilities that address these issues. This course will assist the RN in being sure to follow all local laws and provide guidance in needed situations.
When completed, the attendee will be able to provide the necessary training course to unlicensed personnel at the district, including required paperwork for documentation purposes.
