WDMESC: DAY 1: 3-6 Small Group Reading
In this 2-day training, 3-6 RISE participants that have completed Days 1-6, will dive into the "ins and outs" of small group instruction in grades 3-6. We will look at the purpose of small group instruction in grades 3-6, analyze assessment data to group students, and practice planning to remediate foundational skills and elaborate on reading comprehension skills. We will also be discussing what is essential in small group instruction and identify why text is so important in small group instruction. This is for 3-6 Literacy Teachers.
