NWAESC(2095)...AR Math QuEST Year 2: Going Deeper with Ambitious Teaching (for K-12 Coaches)



AR Math QuEST (Quantitative Essentials for Students and Teachers) is a journey for ambitious teaching that promotes equity and engagement of all students in meaningful mathematics learning experiences of reasoning and problem solving. AR Math QuEST is a state-initiated professional development opportunity for exemplary teaching and learning based on NCTM's Effective Mathematics Teaching Practices and the Standards for Mathematical Practice. In this session we will explore access and equity, the student standards for mathematical practice, the 5 Practices for Orchestrating Productive Mathematics Discourse, and five of the eight Effective Mathematics Teaching Practices.
