LHSD: Band Team Meetings
Change methodology of counting system though-out the entire program. This will improve the students abilities to read music more proficiently. Change the Beginning Band Curriculum to allow a better pacing of the year. This will also allow a better alignment of skills between the different classes. Discuss inventory distribution and how to get the best instruments in each student's hand. Discuss all programing and curriculum decisions for each ensemble this year. It will allow us to develop and plan on how to get each ensemble performing at the correct level. Develop a better recruitment program for the beginning band--especially in a Post-COVID world.
