GPS: Science Unit Development
This live, online or in-person, workshop will engage teachers in the development of a science instructional plan for a school year. During this workshop, classroom teachers will develop grade/course specific science units of study grounded in phenomena. Teachers will develop a year's scope and sequence, bundle performance expectations into units of study, choose essential learning targets, develop assessment plans, and begin writing lessons for the units. In this Grasping Phenomenal Science (GPS) session, come and work with other teachers in your grade level and/or course to collaboratively develop your plans for the next school year. Individual teachers and grade-level teams are welcome.
