ARESC-ARESC & Wilbur D. Mills Cooperative: New Career & Technical Education Teacher Workshop
The DCTE-required New Career & Technical Education Teacher training is provided as a support for novice CTE instructors. Our feature speaker Tracie Opolka will inspire our career-oriented instructors. Our Year 1 CTE teachers will receive information from DCTE presenters about initiatives, standards, Career & Technical Student Organizations, and programs of study. Cooperative CTE Coordinators will share Perkins-related information with an overview of projects, as well as procedural components. We love our CTE teachers. We believe this session will be greatly beneficial for your CTE pedagogy.
Important Session Information:
This event will be hosted at the Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative located at 912 West 6th Street in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Registrants should bring their own laptop. Lunch will be "on your own" with an hour break provided. The meeting is a DCTE requirement for new Career & Technical Education teachers.
