ARESC- RISE 3-6 Day 1 Cohort 2
Participants will understand the rationale behind RISE training and begin to develop an understanding of the scientific theoretical models on which the training is based. Participants will understand that speaking is natural and reading is not. Therefore, promoting permanent word storage begins with mapping sounds to letters. Assessments and strategies for addressing instructional needs in phonology will be examined to connect the Science of Reading to classroom practice. Important Session Information: Note: All days must be taken in order. If you can not attend, please contact the trainer. Participants not under contract with ARESC's Member districts will be charged a fee of $25 per day, or $15 per half day. Payment is required prior to the event session.Disclaimer*** Registered participants who do not attend and fail to cancel their registration will be held liable for the registration fee if applicable.
