CRESC-- Literacy Skills for Students with Complex Learning Needs: Oral Language
In partnership with Arkansas R.I.S.E. experts, Easterseals has created the first in a series of trainings to support special educators of students with complex learning needs as they work toward proficiency in implementing the Science of Reading. This first session focuses on explicit instruction to support Oral Language skills. Participants will gain various strategies for using Augmentative and Alternative Communication and visual supports to engage all students in oral language routines.
This session is intended for special educators working with students K-5 in any setting, special educators supporting students' complex learning needs K-12, Speech-Language Pathologists, paraprofessionals, special education administrators, and building administrators who support special education programs.
