Topic: Wellness and Smart Snack Compliance
This training has been developed to review the responsibilities of Wellness Committee. Overview of the revised Division of Elementary and Secondary Education rules governing nutrition, physical activity, and BMI age assessment protocols for Arkansas public schools. Additionally, we will take a deep dive into smart snack requirements, regulations, and best practices. This learning session will contribute 4 hours of professional development credit for child nutrition managers and directors. Target Audience: Child Nutrition Directors, Managers and Wellness Committee members
