This workshop addresses two important components identified by the National Reading Panel as needed for effective reading instruction -- Reading Rate (Fluency) and Reading Comprehension. Workshop materials include manuals for Rite Flight: A Classroom Reading Rate Program and Rite Flight: A Classroom Comprehension Program. These materials, developed at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, provide excellent supplements to a classroom or remedial reading curriculum Rite Flight is not intended to provide a comprehensive dyslexia intervention.
