SCSC-Taking The “Guess Work” Out Of Goal And Objective Writing in An IEP

Participants will learn how to create an assessment using the Attain CLASS software. These assessments will allow the teacher to test the student on their functioning level on skills aligned to the state standards. Once the assessment is completed, the participant will be able to create an IEP using the assessment data to compile goals and objectives that are aligned to the state standards, taking the “Guess Work” out of goal and objective writing. The participant will also learn that the PLAAFP will be created from the assessment report making IEP creation a snap.

TESS components addressed include: 1B, 1C, 1E, 1F, 3D
