DSC SpEd Novice Network: Universal Design for Learning
This 6-hour session will focus on developing skills needed to make general education literacy accessible to ALL students with disabilities. Universal Design for Learning, High Leverage Practices for Special Education, and High Leverage Practices for Students with Extensive Support Needs will be addressed. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to explore and practice evidence-based, systematic instruction in literacy. Come and learn how to capitalize on your students' strengths and make literacy accessible and meaningful for each and every one of them!
